The World Cup 2024 at St. Joseph’s National School
This year’s highly anticipated World Cup soccer tournament at St. Joseph’s National School took place in an exciting blitz format, bringing together students from 3rd to 6th class for a number of weeks filled with sportsmanship, teamwork, and fun.

The tournament saw teams battle it out in fast-paced matches, with every team showing tremendous skill and determination. In the end, France emerged victorious, securing the top spot and claiming the World Cup title. Clare put in a fantastic effort, finishing as runners-up, while Portugal took third place after a thrilling series of matches.

The World Cup is a highlight of our school calendar, and this year was no exception! It was wonderful to see students of all ages coming together, demonstrating the spirit of friendly competition and teamwork that we value so much at St. Joseph’s. A big thank you to everyone who participated, and congratulations to all the teams for their incredible performances.
